About

Born in Illinois and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Luke Anderson, author of the HOCKEY PENGUIN series, grew up loving everything Las Vegas has to offer. Luke has spent the last several years presenting the Hockey Penguin series to students across the Las Vegas Valley. Luke has been recognized at the Vegas Valley Book Festival for his contributions to promote literacy throughout the Valley. He was presented with their Crystal Bookmark Award in 2012. Luke loves creating new characters, new stories, and passing on his love of writing to students across the state. 

When he’s not working his day job, Luke is busy writing, watching old movies, speaking at local schools, and spending time with his family. With the arrival of the Las Vegas Golden Knights you’ll no doubt catch him at a few hockey games throughout the season. Luke lives with his wife Megan, their daughter Allison, their three dogs, and of course Rodman T. Penguin and the Las Vegas Gamblers crew.
