School Assemblies

The most popular choice for schools, Luke's assemblies are engaging and filled with fun. Assemblies include book giveaways, autographs/pictures with the author, Q&A sessions, visual props of the books, and a yearly create a character contest. Assemblies typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and can be modified to fit the school's schedule. Assemblies can include the whole school or be broken up into two sets. All local Las Vegas and Henderson assemblies are free of charge. We provide order forms should students or teachers want to order after the presentation. (Books signed and delivered at a later date.) Assemblies are available throughout the school year.

Publishing Seminars

Luke is available for Publishing Seminars to teach the writing process and assist with self-publishing. He has worked with the Gifted and Talented 5th grade students of Nate Mack Elementary in Henderson, Nevada to publish their own collection of short stories. There are three Nate Mack books available on Amazon.com. Sales of the Nate Mack book have helped the school fundraiser for several events. 

Library/Reading/Family Nights

Another option for a school visit, Luke is available for your after school reading/library/family night events. Typically these include a small table with the Hockey Penguin books available for purchase and if time allows a small presentation. These are typically shorter than school hour assemblies.
